I had the pleasure of photographing Mark and Shannon’s micro wedding / maternity session…

It was short, but incredibly sweet and absolutely bursting with love and we all know, all you need is LOVE!

I had promised them I wouldn’t take any ‘getting ready’ photographs but when I ducked in to see them at home before I went to the ceremony location. I was greeted by Shannon’s beautiful Pansabella bouquet (filled with South African and Australian natives) sitting on her perfectly colour curated bookcase…
You all know how much I love colour! I just had to get my camera out. (Sorry, not sorry! lol)

On the same headland where Mark proposed to Shannon a few months ago, Married by Simon performed a beautiful, heartwarming ceremony, surrounded by 12 of their family and friends (with lots more watching over Zoom from Zimbabwe and South Africa).

Followed by pizza and champagne whilst watching a storm roll in… The patches of sun through the clouds, the colours in the ocean and the seagulls riding the wind were a magical combination, mother nature was putting on a beautiful show for two beautiful people and their growing family.
